Current and former presidents - Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon - could potentially make it to the second round of the presidential election, according to the data of a sociological survey presented on Tuesday by iData company.
According to the survey, 28.4% of respondents are ready to vote for current President Maia Sandu, while 12.4% - for former President Igor Dodon. Another 7.5% - for former Prime Minister Ion Chicu, 6.7% - for Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban, 4.8% - for former President Vladimir Voronin. About 30% are undecided
IData director Mihai Bologan said that Sandu also leads in the trust rating among Moldovan politicians (24.5%). She is followed by Ilan Shor (10.6%), Igor Dodon (10.1%), Ion Chicu, (5.8%), Ion Ceban (4.6%), Vladimir Voronin (4.1%.) The level of trust in Igor Grosu, chairman of the parliament and ruling Party of Action and Solidarity, is only 0.8%.
